DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, you are welcome by our guide. Then you will be dropped at hotel for check in. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia.

DAY 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR



Have breakfast at hotel. We start our trip wi th a visit to the Ho Chi Minh complex on the site where he declared Vietnam’s independence in 1945, and see the reverence with which Vietnamese people trea t their “Uncle Ho”. Other sites that we will visit with our local guide include: House 54, Stilt House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. (Depending on the line and time, we may go inside the mausoleum to see Ho Chi Minh or just walk from outside).
Leaving the Ho Chi Minh Complex we stop at Hoang Thanh Thang Long (The Hanoi Citadel) to learn about this place and the ressistance against the French in late 19th century. We will have lunch at a traditional local Vietnamese restaurant, where our local guide will explain the secrets of this local dish.
 
In the afternoon, continuing on our journey through Hanoi we drive to the Temple of Literature.  Originally built in honour of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070, a university was added to the grounds six years later. The university provided education to the royal family and children of the aristocracy or "mandarins". The University remained here until Emperor Gia Long moved the countries administrative capital from Hanoi to Hue in the 18th century then we visit the Museum of Ethnology. Since there is no change for the inside, we will take a quick walk to see the outside display of the Museum, which features some typical houses and tombs of Vietamese minorities such as Viet, Muong, Bana, Co Tu, H’mong, Tay, Thai…
 
Return to the Old Quarter, we will enjoy a cyclo (rickshaw) orientation tour for 45 minutes through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. This bustling area of narrow streets and alley ways houses thousands of small family businesses and shops Traveling by cyclo is the way to get a real feeling for the town as well as some great photographs. Enjoy water puppet show in the end of day.  Drop you at hotel. From Friday to Sunday, walking street is operated in Old Quarter and Hoan Hiem Lake where you can join traditional dance, folk songs by street actors, they also show folk games as Bamboo dancing, spinning tops, mandarin square Capturing, Stilt walking, bamboo jacks etc.

DAY 3: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE  




7.30 am: Our guide and driver pick you up at hotel and driving 5 hours through new highway, enjoy beautiful scenery on the road.
12.00: Arrive in Lao Cai, have lunch at local restaurant.
14.00: Start the trip to Cat Cat Village of Black H’Mong tribe. We relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain – “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before trekking back to Sapa town. Check in hotel and free at your leisure in the evening.

DAY 4: SAPA – TRAM TON PASS – MUONG HOA VALLEY – HANOI




Have breakfast at hotel. Drive to Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2047 meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam) where great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. From there you will trek 30 minutes through forest. Along the way you have many chances to see wild flowers. Trekking along the stream you will arrive the Love Water fall. It is the best place for relax in Sa Pa then return Tram Ton and drive back to Sa Pa. In the afternoon you will visit Muong Hoa valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Viet Nam. Descending into the valley by foot you will see the largest terraced rice paddy in the Sa Pa area. Drive back Sapa and have short rest before depart to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around 20.00, enjoy dinner at restaurant.

DAY 5: HANOI – HALONG BAY/ OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE




Morning pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel for transfer to Halong Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. The transfer is approximately 3 hours. You will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields and you may stop on the way to admire the local scenery. 
Arrive in Halong City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk right after the welcome drink is served. Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the mighty bay view.

Halong Bay meaning Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2.
After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with golden sails, go swimming on a quiet beach or sunbath on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, you will visit an interesting fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local people who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. An optional kayaking trip is available weather permitting. Back onboard enjoy a lavish dinner and enjoy the bay view at sunset. Spend a night on board.

DAY 6 : HALONG BAY – HANOI – HUE/ FLIGHT



Wake up with Tai Chi exercises on the sundeck and continue cruising the Bay. Enjoy breakfast buffet in the restaurant, then visit the limestone grotto. Enjoy lunch on board and disembark in Halong City around 12.00 noon and private transfer to Hanoi airport. Say goodbye to the crew then transfer to Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.
11:00: Transfer back Hanoi by private vehicle. Arrive in Hanoi around 17.00, drop you at hotel and free at your leisure in the evening.

DAY 7 : HUE CITY TOUR



In the morning, enjoy a half-day city tour to visit Hue Citadel - Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ram parts, namely from outside to inside: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel) and Khai Dinh Tomb, Hue Citadel is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern. Have lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a cruise along the Perfume River, visiting Minh Mang Tomb (one of Nguyen Emperors). Take cruise Perfume River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda - an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. Continue journey to Dong Ba Market, free for shopping and purchase traditional gift. Drive back hotel, you are free time in the evening.

DAY 8 : HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN

Have breakfast at hotel and then depart to Hoi An via the Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass). Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from high above the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  The mountain range has created a barrier to the cold airstreams from the north which often results in thick cloudbanks over the peaks. The pass has been a strategic military focal point during Vietnam's turbulent history and from the top there are views of the curve of Da Nang Bay. Stop in Da Nang visit Cham Museum- it is the largest collection of Cham sculpture and artwork in the world.  Have lunch at restaurant in Da Nang. Then you will be transferred to Hoi An. Arrive in Hoi, check in hotel and free at your leisure in the afternoon for discover Hoi An town.

DAY 9 : HOI AN CITY TOUR  - BIKING TO TRA QUE VEGETARABLE


 
Your guide meets you at lobby of hotel and then you bike to a family planting Tra Que vegetable that has been very famous for a long time. Arrival this village, we are welcome by hospital farmers, are showed to hoe land, thrust, cultivate, plant vegetables, seed and pick up seaweeds to manure or gather planted vegetables together with farmers. You then together make special meals from Tra Que vegetables, then talk, relax & read on bamboo beds or hammocks in the quiet atmosphere. In the afternoon today, we go fishing so as to be attached to each other in unforgettable impression or bike to Cua Dai beach or relaxing. Cycling to Hoi An town.
In the afternoon, discover the charm of Hoi An as a renowned World Heritage Site. Once a bustling maritime commercial port of Asia between 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. Highlights for sightseeing include the town’s iconic 400-year-old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture, the Museum of Trade Ceramics which is an elegant Vietnamese style wooden house built in 1858 showcasing antique ceramic artifacts, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence, the Ong Temple built in 1653 by Chinese settlers to worship Guan Yu, an ancient Chinese general whose character stands for loyalty, bravery and justice and the local market vibrant with colors and activities.

DAY 10 : HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH CITY/ FLIGHT
 
You have breakfast a hotel. This time is the last day in Hoi An, you are own your activities until time to go Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, local guide welcome you and take you to hotel for check in.

DAY 11 :HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNEL – HAL DAY  CITY TOUR    




Morning, our tour guide meets you at the hotel and transfer to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. The underground tunnel network is in Cu Chi district, 75 km North west of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate labyrinth-like network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity is beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Back Ho Chi Minh city for lunch.
Take a half day city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. The tour continues to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping.  Dinner is served at restaurant

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH – MY THO – CAN THO




After breakfast at hotel, a smooth one and half hour bus ride passing the green rice fields, leading to the beautiful rural My Tho city. The morning trip continues on a motorized boat on the Tien river to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, vi ew on the fishing port, stilt houses, boat building workshops, the other Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn islet. The cruise is leading through Bao Dinh canal, where we enter the Ben Tre province, “the country of coconut”, and see a typical agricultural model call “Garden – Pond – Cage”. Afterwards a boat trip through the small canal – fully covered by the shadows of the coconut trees. Lunch will later be served right in the heart of the orchard garden.
After lunch, taking a walk along the village and visiting a fruit garden. You enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the islanders. Driving to Can Tho, on the way visit Vinh Trang Pagoda – it is one of the most beautiful pagodas in My Tho. Arrive in Can Tho in the late afternoon. Check in hotel. Dinner is served at local restaurant.

 DAY 13 :CAN THO – CAI RANG MARKET – HO CHI MINH     




Start from Ninh Kieu boat quay, where we cruise along the small and picturesque canels and stop to see the Cai Rang . floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). We stop to enjoy the beautiful sc enery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals. Walking through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice/noodle shop, where we observe how it is made. Back pier and transfer to restaurant in Can Tho for lunch.
In the afternoon, driving back Ho Chi Minh city, drop you at hotel and free your time in the evening.

DAY 14 :HO CHI MINH   DEPARTURE
